Rosalia Toro

Registered Psychotherapist

Rosalia bases her practice as a Registered Psychotherapist in empathy and intersectionality, striving always to meet her clients as individuals on unique journeys. As a proud queer woman she has worked with the LGBTQ+ community since volunteering in university and has continued to work with those who feel their sexuality or gender identity plays a vital role in their life and experiences. She is also passionate about working with those with ADHD or on the Autism spectrum and sees neurodiversity as an important factor to consider in therapy. Her other areas of focus include depression, anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), relationship and family issues, life transitions, and self-esteem.

Working from an eclectic and integrative set of perspectives, Rosalia seeks to provide a supportive and validating space where clients can explore their past, present, and future to learn about themselves deeply and create meaningful and lasting changes in their perspective and lifestyle. This includes tools and concepts from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectal-Informed Behavioural Therapy (DBT-Informed), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Frameworks and Existential Therapy.

Rosalia works with adults (18+) and couples and offers virtual sessions across Ontario.
